CLIA requires experience and education to perform high-complexity testing, and our leadership team goes above and beyond to meet and exceed these requirements.

Our onsite laboratory director holds a PhD in Cellular Biology and Molecular Genetics as well as completing a fellowship in Clinical Chemistry. Our leadership combines advanced education and certification with decades of experience in laboratory and regulatory disciplines.

Jen BolusJen Bolus, Managing Partner

Jennifer Bolus is an accomplished healthcare industry executive with 25 years driving growth and profitability for several organizations. Prior to acquiring Bluewater Dx Lab, Jen held several executive roles including Regional Vice President of AllScripts where she worked from 2007-2014. Jen is most proud of her accomplishments as managing partner of Bluewater and navigates life with the motto “People First” throughout both professional and personal relationships.

Andrea ArtherAndrea Arthur, Director of Sales

Andrea has been in the medical field for 21 years, beginning as a CNA at the young age of 18. She began her career at Bluewater Dx Lab in 2019 as an IOP (In- Office phlebotomist). Once in this role, management recognized Andrea’s unique ability to foster client relationships and promoted her to the Director of Business Development in December 2020 where she continues to excel in a leadership position.

Saylor AylmerSaylor Aylmer, Culture and Talent

Saylor began his career with Bluewater Diagnostic Laboratory at the end of August 2020. Born with a passion for helping others, Saylor has experience in the school system, Department of Corrections, career coaching and in the non-profit space.

Chris DarnellChris Darnell, Research and Development Director

Earning a master’s degree in biology with an emphasis in microbiology and molecular techniques from Morehead State University, Chris Darnell enjoys working in the research and development space at Bluewater. Chris currently serves as Director of Research and Development and has been employed with Bluewater Dx since May 2017.

Janie Darnell, Human Resources Manager

Janie came to Bluewater with 20+ years of business management, financial, personnel, and payroll experience. Her background entails owning her own business and working in the medical industry. Within a short period of time, Janie was elevated to Human Resources Manager where she strives for excellence for herself and her co-workers.

Dina English Dina English, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Dina began her career with Bluewater in March 2020 after serving in the addiction treatment and healthcare space for over 16 years. Obtaining a master’s degree in social work from the University of Louisville Kent School, Dina also served on several boards including The Healing Place, Mental Health America of Kentucky, and Operation Parent.

Neal EnglishNeal English, Chief Technical Officer

Neal came to Bluewater with over 15 years in the professional IT sector. With a background in healthcare IT and systems integrations, Neal was a natural fit at Bluewater and helped implement cutting-edge technologies that brought Bluewater to the forefront of laboratory connectivity and reporting solutions.

Katie J. MillerKatie J. Miller, CHC, Corporate Compliance Officer

Katie has served as the Corporate Compliance Officer and Chair of the Corporate Compliance Committee since March 2019. She graduated from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio with a bachelor’s in science before gaining over 10 years of experience in clinical laboratories. Katie has been a member of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) since 2017 and a member of Compliance Certification Board (CCB) since 2018.

Steve MooreSteve Moore, Chief of Sales

Steve Moore attended Eastern Kentucky University and later graduated from Sullivan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Steve has held roles in the laboratory field including sales account manager, for over 10 years now. As the Director of Sales, Steven leads the sales team with grit, integrity, determination and passion.

Russ Wildrick Troy Pitcock, VP of Administration

Troy came to Bluewater in March 2021 with over 30 years of law enforcement, public safety, and public service leadership experience. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Justice Administration at the University of Louisville, is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute (SPI), and Criminal Justice Executive Development (CJED) Program.

Dan PostDan Post, Facilities and Special Projects Manager

Originally from Houston, Texas Dan joined the US Army in July of 1997. Although he served numerous roles in the Army, Dan’s primary job was as a Saxophone Player in the US Army Band. Following retirement, Dan earned a Bachelor of Business and Hospitality Management degrees from Sullivan University.

Stephanie TexasStephanie Texas, Ambulatory Services Director

Stephanie began her career at Bluewater Dx Lab in May 2020. Stephanie holds an AS in science and a BA in sociology. Stephanie has been a phlebotomist since 1994 and has experience with American Red Cross, Hoxworth Blood Center and Owensboro Mercy Health.

Doug Weaver Doug Weaver MHA, BSMT (ASCP), Laboratory Quality Assurance Director

Doug began his initial laboratory career over 20 years ago as a lab generalist and slowly climbed the ladder to supervisor, manager and finally director. Beginning his Bluewater career in June 2019, Doug ensures Bluewater meets and exceeds gold standard excellence following federal, state and local regulations.
